Edison’s and The Outlet to host Family Fest

Family Fest to run Noon to 10pm on July 4
Since many of the area Fireworks celebrations and parties have been cancelled, Edison’s and The Outlet have teamed up to present Family Fest 2020. Family Fest 2020 will open at noon and run to 10pm on Saturday, July 4th and feature activities, contests, the Coors Light Beer tent with plenty of food, beverage and entertainment specials for all to enjoy.
“We as a staff discussed what we could do to still make Independence Day a special event and I am proud that our team will be giving up their holiday to provide fun, food, drinks and entertainment for the area communities,” shared CEO, Matt McSparin.
Specials inside Edison’s Entertainment will include a 3-hour pass good for laser tag, arcade and bowling for just $18, a $4 savings. Our regular line-up of other entertainment deals such as our 2-hour and 3-hour arcade passes will also be available for $20 and $30 respectively. Our restaurant and lounge will also be open all day to quench your thirst and hunger.
At The Outlet, we will offer both indoor and outdoor dining options and our garage doors and windows will be wide open to enhance the experience for all. A variety of outdoor grilling favorites such as kabobs, burgers, dogs, shrimp, chicken and much more will be waiting for you.
Other special offerings just for this event include ice cream options from City Scoops Ice Cream shop in Troy (soon to be Edwardsville) as well as our own flavored lemonade stand featuring watermelon, blueberry and regular lemonade options. These options will be located under the Coors Light tent along with a grab and go burger and dog stand with seating available under the tent. The Coors Light beer trailer under the tent will also be serving Coors Light, Leinenkugel Summer Shandy, and Sierra Nevada Hazy IPA. Our usual variety of great adult beverages will be served at both the Edison’s and The Outlet bars.
We have a great lineup of activities as well to keep it fun for all ages. All activities will take place in the event field next to The Outlet. Participants should check in at the Edison’s Tent.

3-5p BOCCE TOURNEY
• 2-person teams (can be mixed ages and gender)
• $10 entry fee per team, 100% goes to cash prizes for 1, 2, 3rd place

4-7p BINGO, prizes for every round winner
5-7p BAGS TOURNEY
• 2 person teams (can be mixed ages and gender)
• $10 entry fee per team, 100% goes to cash prizes for 1, 2, 3rd place
• Games to 21. Double elimination bracket tournament.
• Additional prizes for winners such as table umbrellas, apparel, hats, gift cards and more
7-10p LIVE MUSIC, featuring Corey Saathoff
All seating throughout our spaces and outside will be socially distanced and sanitation stations featuring sanitizer, wipes, and gloves will be available as well.
